The skeleton of a woman missing from home for a week was recovered from the forest.

Bhavnathpur: A sensation spread in the area after the skeleton of a woman was found in Akelwa Damar forest located in Bhuiyan Bhanwaria Tola of Bansani Panchayat under the police station area. The said woman was missing from her house for the last seven days. The deceased woman was identified as Sumitri Devi, 40, wife of Sakendra Bhuinya, resident of Bhuinya Bhanwariya Tola. This was confirmed by the deceased's daughter Meera Devi from the tattoo on her mother's saree and leg.of. On the other hand, as soon as information about the incident was received, police station in-charge Krishna Kumar, SI Pradeep Oraon, ASI Narayan Prasad reached the spot with their team and after doing Panchnama, the body was sent to Garhwa for post-mortem. The information about the skeleton of a woman in the forest came to light when some children went alone towards the forest of Akelwa Damar on Saturday evening to search for Khukdi. When they smelled a foul smell coming from the bush, the children came and informed the villagers about it. on Sunday morning whenWhen the villagers reached that place in the forest of Akelwa Damar, they saw the mutilated skeleton of a woman and informed the Panchayat head husband Rajeshwar Paswan and Bhavnathpur police. Expressing the fear that the woman was strangled to death on the night of August 5, the villagers said that since the body had been lying in the deserted forest for the last seven days, wild animals or dogs might have scratched the body and eaten it. *Daughter of the deceased accused of murderBlame* Meera Devi, daughter of the deceased, told the police that there was a good rapport between Ledu Khan, a resident of Vishunpur, Rajapahadi of Shribanshidhar Nagar police station area, and my mother Sumitri, hence he used to visit my house frequently. On the evening of 5th August, when my mother was at home, Ledu Khan came in his Luna and took my mother to Santu Ram's house, located at some distance from the house, to make her drink alcohol, till late in the night when he was not home.When I reached, my mother was not found even after a lot of searching on my part. He alleged that it was Ledu Khan who took my mother to the forest and after killing her, threw the body and ran away. He told the police that when I tried to contact Ledu Khan on his mobile, it was saying that his mobile was switched off since last Monday night. In this regard, police station in-charge Krishna Kumar said that prima facie it was murder.This appears to be the case. The police have started investigating the murder case. Soon the murderer will be caught by the police.
